Hi Gary,
The Yakima LongArm Truck Bed Load Extender # Y01149 mounts in a 2" trailer hitch and has a variety of height settings which can change the length it extends from the bed. I've attached a diagram below showing this so you can compare it to how far your DECKED drawer system extends. view full answer...
The Gate King Adjustable Truck Bed Extender part # GK64FR does not have any tailgate lowering assistance built into it. We do have that separately with the DeeZee lowering tailgate assist part # DZ43200 which is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Ford F-150. view full answer...
The Rightline Truck Bed Tent # RL110710 for your 2018 GMC Sierra 1500, does also come with a rainfly cover.
This tent also sleeps two adults, features a quick and easy setup, and also features WeatherGuard waterproofing that blocks out rain and snow. view full answer...
Since you have a 169" canoe I recommend using the Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07707 on your 2018 Nissan Frontier because it will support up to about 130" of the length of your canoe. This leaves you with about 20" of canoe at the front and rear of this ladder rack.
I would imagine that 20" of space at the back of your Frontier would leave you with enough turning room for a travel trailer but if you would rather not have the canoe sticking out at all at the rear you... view full answer...
The exterior width of the 2022 Ram 1500's bed is 82.1". You'll be able to go with the longer 78" Yakima HD Crossbars item # Y01159. view full answer...
Hey Bruce, so normally a slider hitch is needed when towing with a short bed truck but recently fifth wheel trailer have been made with a tapered nose and extended pin boxes which allows a lot of short bed trucks to easily tow without a slider. So I checked out the Montana 3123RL and it has a tapered nose so it would be okay to use a fixed hitch like the Companion part # BWRVK3305.
Otherwise you would need the slider version part # BWRVK3370. view full answer...
Hi Francois,
There is a roof rack for your 2020 Ram 2500 that will fit so long as you have a Crew Cab or Mega Cab; I'll go ahead and list out the parts you need:
- Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA150B-2
- Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA
- Custom DK Fit Kit # DK043
Then for pads that fit around the crossbars you can use the Rhino-Rack Crossbar Pads w/ Tie-Downs # RRRWP04.
Additionally, since it is a long kayak, you may want added support for the back of the kayak by using... view full answer...
To mount the Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for Demco Hijacker SL Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # DM8553009-12 in the bed of your 1998 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 you will need to have your Demco SL Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch. First you will need to install the hitch into the SL rails and center the assembly between the fenders. If you have a 6-1/2' bed the rear edge of the rails need to be 19" from the rear edge of the bed. For an 8' bed the rear edge of the rails will be... view full answer...
No, I am sorry it will not work. The Demco 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter item # DM6140 has issues with spray in bed liners sometimes due to the thickness. These only work on regular bed trucks none of the 5th wheel rail adapters designed for B&W Turnoverball Systems work with recessed beds.
If the top of your gooseneck ball doesn't stick out above your recessed well you can use the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter item # DM8550046 and connect directly to the ball.... view full answer...
With the additional length in the bed of your 2022 Ford F-350 and the tapered nose of the Momentum 351M, you will more than likely be ok to use the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Ford OEM Legs # C16034 in your truck.
There is a way to figure out the clearance you have when your 5th wheel has a tapered nose. I have included the steps to do that below.
1: Go to the far edge of your trailer nose, about 1 foot up to allow for the curvature of the nose you will place a piece of tape... view full answer...
Yes, the Replacement Cover # PE48UV will indeed fit the 2018 Ford F-150 extended cab with the 67" bed. This is made to be a replacement cover for the Pace Edwards JackRabbit Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-JRFA05A28 which is specifically for the 67" bed F-150. view full answer...
Thank you for the images Barb, but you are going to have to take a couple measurements to verify what is going to work best for your exact situation. It looks like you have a 2019 Toyota Tundra with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1257 for the 5-1/2' bed. I do see according to the image provided your trailer is 80" wide so to make a full jack knife turn you would need more than 40" from the center of the hitch ball in the bed to the cab. This is not likely... view full answer...
Hey Brian, so according to TorkLift they don't have any tie downs for the front but for the rear you are going to want the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TL54FR.
Since your truck has factory running boards that extend under the bed, there aren't going to be any front tie downs available. view full answer...
You have some great questions Cat. First you can mount the Thule DockGlide Kayak Roof Rack # TH896 into the channel on the WingBar Edge roof rack. For your 2nd question there is no way to change out the bolt and knob used to attach the kayak rack with a lock. And finally you will be able to use the DockGlide on the Rhino-Rack T-Load Hitch Mounted Load Assist Extender # RTL002. view full answer...
Yeah, there are no TorkLift SuperHitches available for a 2023 Jeep Gladiator or any Jeep. Those are the heaviest duty bumper pull hitches and are reserved for large trucks with the highest towing capacities.
You'll want to look into a weight distribution system with an extended shank if your Gladiator's hitch is rated for one. If you have a hitch that mounts underneath your frame like the Curt item # C74DR you can use a weight distribution system.
For a 550 lbs tongue weight, I recommend... view full answer...
The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57204 air bags have a designed height of 6". This is the distance that you will want in between your mounting flanges.
I recommend using the Air Lift Compressor System # AL74000EZ as this has a smart manifold to maintain the air pressure within 3psi of your settings. view full answer...
Starting off with air bags I recommend getting the Firestone # F2400. Firestone air bags have the best construction and are the most reliable. These have 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity and come with a lifetime warranty on the air springs. If you want to be able to make adjustments from the cab no matter where you go I would also add an air compressor like the # F99VV. This system has wireless control and will let you adjust each air bag independently.
When you say the wired to tie... view full answer...
Hi David,
The HappiJac Extender Bracket for Dual Wheel Chassis Truck Camper Jacks # HJ54FR is designed to hold more weight than the jacks that it works with so it's only rated up to the jack's capacity by the manufacturer. It's actual capacity is most likely quite a bit more, it just hasn't been tested.
As long as you're following the usage instructions for the jack system you should have no issues. view full answer...
What I would do is go out to your truck and measure out 71 inches and 65 inches on a tape measure and compare that to the width of your bed. If you think the 71 inch looks better and would suit your needs then that's what you would want to go with part # RRVA180B-RRRLT600.
If instead you'd prefer the 65 inch you'd want the part # RRVA165B-RRRLT600. As long as neither extends out past your mirrors you'd be safe to use either. view full answer...
